ImOneCrazyFucker April 29, 2011 at 3:30 pm

I’m going to be starting one in September, where are you doing yours? Bedfordshire, BCU, Lancashire, or Nott Trent? I’m gonna be doing mine at Bedfordshire.

If a file has been overwritten then it is highly unlikely you will get it back…many software recovery companies have said even overwriting a file with “0”‘s just once cannot be retreived.

although military standard is 7 overwrites

No it doesn’t unallocated space is when you partition your drive without formating it

the “deleted” file just gets flagged as deleted

Darkrune495 April 29, 2011 at 5:40 pm

the data goes into the unallocated space on the device

A very interesting video. I’m currently doing a degree in computer forensics and we are learning how to do all of this.

underbeltfish April 29, 2011 at 6:42 pm

if the data deleted in the recycle bin isn’t really deleted and we just dont know where to find it, then where?

nerdysaz April 29, 2011 at 6:51 pm

i want to become one of these and you start at around £25,000 and when you are more experienced then you can earn around £50,000 – £100,000.

Same question as Shinigami (lol death note is awesome) , How much to these guys earn a year? I imagine on pay day they receive a behemoth amount of money lol.

polock23 April 29, 2011 at 7:49 pm
